Mostly it was younger people who were irritated.
I truly will just say thank you very much and dip if people don't want to help or can't help. Some seem irritated that I was even asking questions but I've been in customer service for 17 years, I've worked a lot if crap jobs and I'm very polite about this sort of stuff. Most people I talked to had no idea that looking up a UPC was possible or pretended they didn't.

He didn't really seem to get the question I guess people don't ask for that kind of specific service at Walmart very often. The first place I went I didn't see anything and I asked the young guy working the counter if he had a way to check a UPC. Honestly, I think all of those stores had the stock and didn't know how to find it or didn't really care to look. Finally found them at a different country Walmart in the opposite direction as I'd gone the first time. Once they actually started to show in stock in my area I went to like 8 stores over two days. I even started playing with different zip codes and drove 40 minutes one day to a little country Walmart that showed stock.
